Thailand extends COVID-19 quarantine period for all arrivals, imposes restrictions in 6 provinces

Thailand is stepping up measures to stem a widening COVID-19 outbreak. Quarantine for all arrivals will be extended to 14 days, up from the current 10. Restrictions will also be imposed in six provinces, including Bangkok. Gatherings have been limited to 20 people in the highest-risk zones, while sports facilities and gyms will be shut in six provinces from May.
